This walkthrough covers slide approval and timed reward QRs, implemented in development. Check feature availability if your live screen differs.
1

Check the earned reward

Open your merchant card, then the reward page. Check the stamp goal, eligible outlets and any reward expiry date.
2

Prepare the QR at the counter

Use Slide to prepare reward QR at the bottom of the page. Drag the handle left to right through four checkpoints and release at the end. Releasing early cancels the slide without submitting.
3

Show the temporary reward QR

Wait for Reward QR ready, then show staff the code. It lasts up to 10 minutes, or until the reward’s deadline if sooner. Keep the countdown visible. Your usual membership QR is for collecting stamps, not claiming a reward.
4

Let staff approve

Staff scan the reward QR, review the details and use Slide to redeem reward. Preparing your QR has not redeemed anything or spent stamps. Wait for the confirmed result before taking the reward.
5

Check the receipt

Once redemption is confirmed, the QR is replaced by a receipt and the wallet refreshes its progress. The reward’s stamp cost is deducted; extra stamps carry forward between reward levels. The final claim clears the balance and follows the programme’s reset setting. Another claim needs a new reward QR and approval.

After your final reward

The merchant chooses whether the card restarts at the first reward with zero stamps, or becomes complete, with no more stamps or reward claims on that card. This happens after staff confirm the final claim—not when you reach the stamp goal—so you can still collect the reward you earned. See final reward behaviour.

Prefer not to drag?

Choose Confirm without sliding, or focus the slider handle, press Right arrow four times, then Enter. The same checks apply. Sound is optional: use the sound control on the reward page. Checkpoint clicks do not mean a reward has been redeemed; use the on-screen confirmation.

Understand the two expiry times

  • QR countdown: the short window for staff to scan and approve this code. If it expires without redemption, prepare another while the reward is still valid.
  • Reward expiry: the merchant’s deadline for claiming the earned reward. It may have no expiry, or expire one week or one calendar month after it is earned. Check the date on your reward page.
Replacing a QR invalidates the old one. It never extends the reward deadline. If the reward itself has expired, ask the merchant for help; creating another QR will not make it valid. Expiry does not automatically erase your stamps.

If the result is unclear

Keep the reward page open with an internet connection. If the countdown ends while Kardy is checking whether staff redeemed it, wait for that check; the timer alone does not prove the claim failed. Ask staff to check their result and activity before starting another claim. A screenshot, sound or native wallet balance is not proof of redemption. Deleted or changed rewards can invalidate a prepared code. Reopen the current reward and check with staff. See reward changes. For help, share the brand, outlet and visit time with Support, not your private QR code. Staff can follow the counter tutorial.
