One email, one Kardy account. You can use the same email and password for your personal wallet and your business workspace. You may need to sign in separately on each site; that does not mean you need two accounts.

One password across both sites

Your consumer wallet at getkardy.com and merchant portal at merchants.getkardy.com use the same Kardy login—not separate passwords.
  • Resetting your password on either site changes the password for both sites. Use the new password the next time you sign in to either one.
  • A password reset does not change your email, memberships, stamps, rewards, businesses, subscriptions or Owner, Manager and Staff permissions.
  • Being a customer of a business does not give you access to manage it. Each business still controls its own team permissions.
  • Separate sign-in sessions on the two sites do not mean separate accounts. Do not assume a password reset signs out every existing session. If you suspect unauthorised access, reset your password and contact Kardy Support.
For example, a café Owner who resets their password while using their personal wallet must also use that new password when signing in to the merchant portal. Their café and personal memberships stay in place. Development and production are separate environments. A reset in a development or test environment does not change the account on the live sites, even when the email address is the same. See password recovery for the steps. Never share your login with employees; invite each person using their own account. An account is your personal login. A customer membership connects you to a shop’s loyalty programme. A workspace is a business you own or have been invited to manage. Joining a shop as a customer does not grant access to its workspace.

Where should I start?

Creating a consumer account never creates a business. Creating a login on the merchant portal does not create the business by itself either: you still need to complete the setup form and choose Create organization. It also does not activate a paid subscription. If you are joining an existing team, use the invitation you received rather than creating a new organisation. Each brand has its own team permissions—being an Owner at one brand does not give you access to another. Looking for practical steps? Start with Quick start, or open the Staff, Manager, or Owner guide.

Create an account

Use these steps only if you do not already have a Kardy login. Existing users should choose Sign in, even if they have never used the merchant portal.
  1. Enter your email and choose Continue on step 1 / 2. Already registered? Choose Sign in below the button instead.
  2. Enter your full name, select your phone country, enter the national phone number, and choose and confirm a password on step 2 / 2.
  3. Satisfy the displayed password checks, then choose Create account. Complete email verification if requested before continuing to your destination.
Phone entry accepts digits and caps the length according to the selected country’s numbering plan. The server also validates the number and selected country; a full field is not necessarily a valid number. Supported types are mobile and fixed-line numbers, without extensions. This format check does not verify phone ownership or deliver an SMS code. Passwords are handled through the authentication service. The merchant signup preview uses your entered name and email, but it is read-only. Placeholder menu rows do not open settings, and the preview is not evidence that your account has been created. The consumer signup preview shows personal details, not a business account. Previews do not create memberships or issue wallet passes.

“An account with this email already exists”

This refers to your login, not whether you have a business. Choose Sign in instead and use the existing password. If you cannot remember it, use Forgot your password? Do not create a second login to work around the message.

Asked to complete your personal details?

Before using the consumer wallet or joining a programme, your saved profile needs a name and a valid phone number. If either is missing or invalid, /onboarding asks you to complete them. The email is taken from your signed-in account. This applies to existing accounts too, including accounts first used on the merchant portal. It does not create another login, move your memberships or set up a business. Complete profiles skip this step. See complete your details.

Account settings or Organisation settings?

Open Account settings from your account menu in the consumer or merchant portal. Your personal details are shared across your Kardy account, not copied into a separate login for every brand. Sign-in email is currently read-only. See editing personal details or recovering wallet access.

Who can do what?

See the role comparison for Owner, Manager and Staff permissions. A customer membership grants no merchant access. Members lists customers; Team & access manages employees.
