Brand is not outlet

Sunday Coffee can have Orchard, Joo Chiat, and Tiong Bahru outlets under one brand. Those outlets share the brand’s programme; they are not three unrelated memberships. A separate business with a different identity should be a separate brand.

Team member is not loyalty member

Use team for the people working at the business. Use members for its customers. “Merchant” describes the business side of Kardy, not a fourth team role. The team roles are Owner, Manager, and Staff. They belong to a brand, not permanently to a person’s account. See roles for rollout status.

Some existing screens use “business” or “merchant” for brand, and “location” or “store” for outlet. These guides use Brand and Outlet consistently.
