# Replace your Kardy QR

> Replace a compromised account QR and refresh any native passes that use it.

Use this when your private account QR may have been shared or exposed, not for a
routine camera problem.

<Warning>
  Replacement cannot be undone. The old Kardy account QR and native passes using
  it stop working. Manual member codes remain unchanged.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open wallet actions">
    Where available, select **Replace my Kardy QR**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Read and confirm">
    Check the warning before approving replacement. Keep your account signed in.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Reload Kardy">
    Reload to show the current QR. Do not keep presenting the old screenshot.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Replace saved native passes">
    If you use Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, save fresh passes and remove the
    old ones yourself.
  </Step>

**Done when:** the reloaded wallet shows your current QR and any saved passes have
been replaced. Kardy does not remotely remove old passes from your device.

If the result is uncertain, choose **Reload Kardy** before showing a code or trying
again. A lost response does not prove replacement failed. Contact [Support](/help)
without including your QR or verification codes.
