# Add Kardy to your home screen

> Keep the browser wallet within easy reach without an app-store download.

Use this flow after joining your first programme. Kardy is a progressive web app;
installation is optional and does not create another account.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Kardy in your browser">
    Open the [consumer wallet](https://getkardy.com/member) in a supported
    browser and sign in.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Use the browser's install option">
    Choose **Add to Home Screen** or the browser's app-install option, if
    offered. Follow the confirmation shown by your device.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the new shortcut">
    Return to the home screen and open Kardy. Sign in if prompted, using the
    account that owns your memberships.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check your wallet">
    Confirm your memberships appear and you can open your current QR.
  </Step>
</Steps>

**Done when:** Kardy opens from its home-screen icon and shows your wallet.

If installation is not offered, continue using Kardy in your browser. Menu names
and support vary by browser and device. Do not promise offline stamp earning.

Adding the web app is different from [saving a native wallet pass](/customer-journey/save-wallet).

On iPhone, the illustrated flow uses Safari's **Share → Add to Home Screen → Add**.
The browser's menu can vary. Installing Kardy does not subscribe you to push
notifications; the landing-page claim notification is a concept, not a live service.
